So I dropped those "friendly but oversimplified" GUIs, which were working mostly with preselected parameters. (Which, I was aware, could be available with CLI-ffmpeg) It worked, but as time went by, and with my more serious jobs, i always wanted to have more precise control and was often frustrated that those GUIs were always missing some function i needed. I'll share my small experience with the excellent tool, its kind of on-topic.Ī long (looong) time ago, as a newbie in the video world, i started using the infamous SUPER©, and the not-so-freeware-MediaCoder.
